Upstream Lead the design and delivery of a web-based Well Plan Management Application that serves as the centralized platform for reviewing, managing, and approving well planning data. The system consolidates critical well planning information—including well details, trajectory, seismic, mudlog, casing, and offset well data—into a secure, governed workflow environment.
Responsibilities include gathering requirements, defining functional specifications, coordinating development and testing activities, and ensuring successful deployment of modules such as well management, data import and visualization, offset well comparison, approval workflows, status tracking, audit logging, and PDF reporting. The role requires collaboration with drilling, engineering, geology, and operations teams to establish standardized processes, improve data visibility, and maintain compliance through controlled review and approval workflows.
The solution includes role-based access control, lifecycle management (Draft, In Review, Approved, Rejected), approval management, reporting, database and EDM integration, deployment support, testing coordination, and post-implementation stabilization. The platform provides view-only access to approved planning data, ensuring data integrity, traceability, and operational governance.
