Our global client seeking experienced and highly motivated Slickline Supervisors for offshore oil and gas operations in Turkey. The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of slickline operations on offshore platforms. This role plays a crucial part in well interventions, completions, and production optimization activities.
All applicants MUST reside in UK or EU due to Visa requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead all offshore slickline operations in compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.

  • Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with client specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Plan and coordinate slickline activities with rig crews, service companies, and client representatives.

  • Oversee tool preparation, deployment, and retrieval including gauge cutting, setting/pulling plugs, deploying logging tools, and memory gauges.

  • Conduct job risk assessments, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.

  • Monitor and maintain slickline equipment to ensure operational readiness and integrity.

  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting of all operations, including job tickets, end-of-job reports, and incident reports.

  • Train and mentor junior slickline personnel and ensure team competency.

  • Manage inventory of tools and spares, and ensure all lifting and pressure control equipment is certified and in good working order.

  • Liaise with the onshore support team and provide technical feedback and performance improvement input.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on slickline experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

  • Previous offshore experience is essential.

  • Proficient in a wide range of slickline operations including fishing, setting/pulling plugs, deploying memory tools, and other mechanical interventions.

  • Strong knowledge of pressure control equipment (BOPs, lubricators, etc.).

  • Valid offshore certifications including:

    • BOSIET/FOET

    • Medical (OGUK or equivalent)

    • H2S and confined space training

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
