Key Responsibilities:

Manage and optimize drilling and geological databases for active onshore projects

Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility across departments

Support real-time data acquisition and reporting systems

Collaborate closely with drilling engineers, subsurface teams, and IT
-
Enforce data governance, backup, and recovery procedures
-
Troubleshoot and resolve database and integration issues promptly
Requirements:
-
Proven experience managing databases in oil & gas drilling operations (onshore preferred)
-
Strong working knowledge of industry data platforms (e.g., OpenWorks, Petrel, WellView, EDM)
-
Advanced SQL skills and experience with data integration and visualization tools
-
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills
-
Ability to work independently and under pressure in an operational environment
Preferred Certifications & Skills:
-
PPDM (Professional Petroleum Data Management)
-
WITSML (Wellsite Information Transfer Standard Markup Language)
-
Data management experience with Landmark, Peloton, or similar systems
-
Understanding of regulatory data requirements and compliance standards
