Frac Engineer
If you are looking for your next opportunity, our client in Saudi Arabia are looking for a number of Frac Engineers for long term rotational work.
Responsibilities of the Frac Engineer:
- Design and optimise hydraulic fracturing treatments for oil and gas wells. This involves analysing geological data, well characteristics, and reservoir properties to create effective and efficient fracturing plans.
- Select appropriate fracturing fluids and proppants to create the desired fracturing geometry and conductivity within the reservoir.
- Work closely with clients and other stakeholders to plan and coordinate fracturing operations.
- Prepare job programs, timelines, and budgets whilst ensuring all equipment and materials are available for the job.
- During fracturing operations, they supervise the operation of hydraulic fracturing equipment, including pumps, blenders, and data acquisition systems, to ensure safe and efficient execution.
- Ensuring that all safety guidelines and procedures are followed.
- Implement safety measures to protect personnel and the environment.
- Collect and analyse data from the field to assess the effectiveness of fracturing treatments and make real-time adjustments as needed to achieve optimal results.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Frac Engineer in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and awareness of potential hazards associated with hydraulic fracturing.
- Effective communication skills.
- Proficient in data analysis and interpretation to optimise frac designs and evaluate results.
