Oilfield Services Heavy Duty Transport Mechanic
Our client is seeking a experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team in Moomba, Roma and Jandakot.
This will be a long-term employment opportunity working a FIFO 3 x 3 roster.
Responsibilities of the Heavy Duty Transport Mechanic:
- Maintain rigorous preventative maintenance programmes supporting all product service lines.
- Routine service and maintenance repairs to specialised heavily oil field equipment – predominantly land equipment and a large fleet of truck / trailer.
- Test and diagnosis of hydrualic, mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems on specialised equipment.
Requirements:
- Mobile Plant Mechanic trade certificate or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with Cummins and Caterpillar engines is preferred.
- Previous experience with hydraulic systems will be highly regarded/
- Able to demonstrate basic computer skills.
- Flexible to travel when required, sometimes at short notice.
- Hold a valid driving license.
- Adaptable mindset within the work environment.
- Able to work autonomously and within a team environment.
- Punctual and reliable.
