Upstream Mechanical Technician
One of our clients is in need of a Mechanical Technician for a permanent role in Jandakot, Western Australia.
Responsibilities of the Mechanical Technician:
- Maintain, fault diagnosing and completing repairs of a variety of mechanical equipment related to energy services such as diesel engineers, transmissions, drive train components, pumps, sand conveyor systems and hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Install new or reconditioned repair parts.
- Test equipment for proper operation.
Requirements:
- Experience working as a Mechanical Technician.
- Heavy Mechanic or Road Transport Trade certificate.
- Flexible to travel to site when required.
- Individual must be currently living, and eligible to work, in Australia.
- Current Australian driving license.
Additional Information:
- This position is a 3/3 even time roster position based in Jandakot with a very competitive salary inclusive of Base and all applicable bonuses. There will be a requirement to FIFO to the rig, but the candidate will also be working in the Jandakot Warehouse.
