Job Title: Technical Administrator – Oil & Gas Drilling Operations (Onshore)
Location: Saudi Arabia
Contract: 6-Month Contract (Potential to Extend)
Start Date: Approx. June 2025

Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Administrator to provide high-level administrative and technical support within their onshore drilling operations. This position plays a vital role in managing documentation, coordinating technical data, and supporting operational reporting for active drilling campaigns. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support drilling and engineering teams with document control, reporting, and administrative tasks

  • Manage and maintain operational data, records, and technical documentation (e.g., well files, permits, equipment logs)

  • Coordinate information flow between departments and external stakeholders

  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and dashboards using operational data

  • Ensure documentation meets internal standards and regulatory compliance

  • Provide logistical and administrative support for meetings, audits, and operational planning

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a technical administrative role within oil & gas, preferably drilling operations

  • Strong understanding of document control practices and industry terminology

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

  • Familiarity with drilling documentation systems (e.g., WellView, OpenWells, AFE tracking tools)

  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills

Preferred Certifications & Skills:

  • Certificate or diploma in business administration, engineering support, or a related field

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Maximo

  • Knowledge of regulatory documentation and compliance standards

  • HSE awareness and understanding of oilfield operations

Contract Details:

  • 6-month initial term, with potential to extend based on performance and project needs

  • Competitive day rate
