Job Description:

Responsible for developing and
implementing production solutions and individual workflows. Capable of
organizing, collecting and reporting data necessary for the definition and
specification of the production engineering processes. Experience in well
modelling, nodal analysis, and capable of generating integrated asset models
under general supervision of the technical lead project. Familiar with
production optimization workflows, and debottlenecking very large complex
infrastructures. Capable of working in a
fast paced and deadline driven work environment. Skills are typically acquired
through about 7+ years of consulting, supporting upstream work processes and IT
projects.

Key Responsibilities:

· Champions the implementation of
workflows with the direction of the technical lead.

· Resolves issues related with
the implementation of the workflow.

· Organizes data collection and
reports information about the definition and specification of the domain
engineering processes.

· Designs and develops details of
engineering calculations, workflows

· Develops process models
(Reservoir, Surface, Proxy’s, etc.)

· Works closely with the Business
Architect to integrate the needs of the users.

· Assists with documentation
necessary for the workflow implementation.

· Assists with testing to ensure
that the user’s needs are met.


Required Qualifications:

· Completion of an undergraduate
degree in engineering (petroleum, mechanical or chemical), Computer
Science. Master’s degree is desirable

Preferred Skills:

· Technology

o Proven working experience in Python
development, Familiar with basic data structures and algorithms

o Project experience using Python
for API development and data analysis.

o Object oriented analysis and
design using common design patterns

o Excellent knowledge of relational
databases, SQL

o Experience in deploying,
managing, administering and monitoring workflow

o Experience in Nexus and well
modelling is desirable

· Domain (proficient in at least
one of the 3 domain areas below)

o Experience working as oil and
gas domain

o Landmark Business Domain –
Production

o Knowledge and experience in
modelling technologies

· General

o Proven hands-on software development
experience

o Good communication with English

o Good problem-solving skills

o Good documentation skills

o Flexible to travel
