Upstream Petrophysicist – Remote (India Time Zone)
We are seeking an experienced Petrophysicist to support a remote project. Candidates must be available to work in Indian time zones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform petrophysical analysis for wells to support geocellular and reservoir models.
- Estimate porosity, fluid saturation, net pay thickness, and HCPT, including cutoff justification.
- Calibrate interpretations using core data, Dean-Stark, SCAL, and RCA data.
- Define petrophysical rock types through integration of core, conventional logs, and image logs.
- Develop porosity-permeability and fluid saturation models for reservoir rock types.
- Identify fluid contacts and evaluate uncertainties using formation pressure data.
- Prepare petrophysical summation tables for geological units from stratigraphic interpretation.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in petrophysical interpretation and reservoir characterization.
- Experience integrating core, log, and pressure transient data.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment aligned with Indian working hours.
