Upstream We are seeking experienced Well Testing Consultants to support offshore oil and gas operations across the UK. The successful candidates will be responsible for planning, supervising, and executing well testing operations safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with client procedures and UK offshore regulations.
The role requires strong technical expertise in well testing operations, leadership capability offshore, and a commitment to operational excellence and HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate offshore well testing operations on drilling rigs, production platforms, and well intervention vessels.
- Ensure safe installation, operation, and maintenance of well testing equipment.
- Monitor and interpret well test data including pressures, temperatures, flow rates, and fluid samples.
- Liaise with client representatives, drilling teams, service companies, and offshore management.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, UK HSE regulations, and industry best practices.
- Conduct pre-job planning, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and operational reporting.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and provide technical solutions during testing operations.
- Oversee equipment rig-up and rig-down activities.
- Prepare detailed daily reports, final well test reports, and operational summaries.
- Support optimisation of well performance and operational efficiency.
- Participate in emergency response and incident investigations when required.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years offshore well testing experience within the oil and gas industry.
- Previous experience working offshore
- Experience working in the UK North Sea environment preferred.
- Valid offshore certification including:

- BOSIET / FOET with CA-EBS
- MIST
- OGUK Medical
- Offshore Survival Certification
