Upstream Our client has requirements for Data Acquisition Specialist ( TDA) to work onshore in The United Arab Emirates
Responsible for collecting, monitoring, validating, and managing operational and subsurface data from field equipment, drilling operations, production systems, and monitoring instruments.
Ensuring accurate and reliable data acquisition from sensors, SCADA systems, data loggers, and other field technologies, supporting real-time decision-making, performance analysis, regulatory compliance, and operational optimization.
The role involves configuring and maintaining data acquisition systems, troubleshooting data transmission issues, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with engineering, drilling, production, and IT teams to deliver timely and accurate information for business and technical operations.
Technical Skills
- Data acquisition, validation, and quality control (QC).
- Knowledge of industry databases such as:

- OpenWells
- EDM
- Petrel
- Power BI
- Strong skills in Excel, SQL, and data reporting tools.
- Understanding of WITS/WITSML data standards is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect technical data from field and operational sources.
- Verify data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Maintain data repositories and databases.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Coordinate with drilling, production, geology, and reservoir teams.
- Ensure compliance with company data governance standards.
- Support digital transformation and data analytics initiatives.
