We are currently seeking experienced CompEx Electricians to support oil & gas rig operations.
Key Requirements
- CompEx certification – essential
- Minimum 3+ years’ electrical experience on drilling rigs
- Previous experience working within the oil & gas industry
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment in hazardous areas
- Experience with inspection, maintenance, fault finding and repair of electrical equipment
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a rig environment
- Strong understanding of ATEX / IECEx and hazardous area requirements
- Relevant offshore/rig safety certifications as required
- Able to provide relevant qualifications and experience references
Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical maintenance, inspections and repairs across the rig
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults
- Maintain electrical equipment and systems to a high standard
- Ensure all work complies with company HSE procedures and hazardous area regulations
- Complete maintenance records and relevant documentation
- Support the wider rig maintenance team as required
Candidates must have proven rig experience and hold a valid CompEx certification.
