Upstream Security Supervisor (Offshore) – Guyana

Rotation: 28 Days On / 28 Days Off

We are currently seeking an experienced Security Supervisor (Offshore) to support offshore operations in Guyana.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the implementation and ongoing management of the offshore security programme, ensuring compliance with company standards, industry best practice and relevant security requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate offshore security activities and personnel.
- Provide security direction, mentoring and support to offshore Site Security Contacts.
- Support the development, implementation and maintenance of offshore security plans and procedures.
- Conduct security assessments, audits and reviews.
- Support emergency response, crisis management and incident reporting.
- Liaise with security contractors, service providers and relevant external stakeholders.
- Oversee security arrangements for offshore vessels and FPSO operations.
- Support risk assessments, security reviews and security improvement programmes.
- Provide regular updates to the Security Operations Manager on offshore security matters.
- Assist with security training, coaching and knowledge transfer.
- Support journey management and other offshore security logistics where required.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ offshore security experience, or 10 years’ progressively responsible experience in a relevant commercial security environment.
- Minimum 2 years’ Oil & Gas experience, preferably within a developing-country environment.
- Proven experience supervising security teams and managing security programmes.
- Experience in offshore, vessel, FPSO or maritime security environments.
- Strong experience in risk assessment, crisis management, investigations and contractor management.
- Excellent communication, leadership and conflict-resolution skills.
Required Certifications
- ISPS – Company Security Officer (CSO)
- ISPS – Ship Security Officer (SSO)
- ISPS – Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO)
- T-BOSIET
- Cyber Security Strategy for Vessels
- Internal Auditor – ISM / ISPS / MLC
- Lead Auditor
- NEBOSH HSE Certificate in Process Safety Management or equivalent
- CIEH Professional Trainer or equivalent
- First Aid
- Valid Offshore Medical, including TB testing
Additional Requirements
Successful candidates will be required to complete the relevant background checks, alcohol and drug testing and fit-for-work medical.
This is a 28/28 rotational position, with the successful candidate based in Georgetown and required to travel offshore, to vessels and other locations as necessary.
