Upstream Our client in Qatar requires a Hydrogeologist to a upcoming long term project. The successful candidate will be responsible for groundwater investigations, hydrogeological assessments, field data collection, monitoring, and technical reporting. The role will involve working closely with geologists, environmental specialists, civil/engineering teams, contractors, and project management.
Plan and execute hydrogeological investigations and groundwater assessment programs.
Conduct groundwater surveys, borehole/well investigations, aquifer characterization, and groundwater monitoring.
Supervise drilling, borehole construction, well development, and pumping/slug tests.
Collect, validate, and interpret groundwater level, flow, yield, and water-quality data.
Develop and maintain groundwater monitoring networks and databases.
Carry out groundwater sampling and coordinate laboratory testing.
Assess groundwater recharge, discharge, flow patterns, and aquifer characteristics.
