Upstream We are seeking an experienced Senior Geologist to join an upcoming project in Qatar. The successful candidate will provide senior technical expertise across geological investigations, site characterisation, geological mapping, ground investigation, data interpretation, and geotechnical/environmental assessments.
Lead and coordinate geological investigations and site characterisation activities.
Review and interpret geological, geotechnical, hydrogeological, and geophysical investigation data.
Develop and maintain geological models and ground-condition interpretations.
Undertake geological mapping, field inspections, site reconnaissance, and logging of boreholes, trial pits, cores, and rock exposures.
Supervise and technically review drilling, sampling, coring, logging, and in-situ investigation activities.
Establish and maintain appropriate geological logging standards and quality-control procedures.
Interpret subsurface conditions and identify geological hazards and constraints relevant to project design and construction.
