Upstream Position: Stimulation Engineer
Start date: 1 October 2026.
Number of positions: 2
Rotation: 6 weeks on / 3 weeks off.
Office and Offshore: Based initially with future offshore assignments
Location: Port Harcourt, Nigeria | 1-year project
Role Overview
We are seeking two Stimulation Engineers to support job design, engineering planning and client coordination from the Port Harcourt office. Candidates will initially work on stimulation job design and act as the Client Focal Point, with future opportunities to execute stimulation operations offshore, including deepwater projects.
Responsibilities
· Develop stimulation job designs, programmes and technical procedures.
· Coordinate with clients and act as the primary engineering focal point.
· Support technical planning, equipment selection and job preparation.
· Liaise with operations and service delivery teams to ensure readiness.
· Provide offshore engineering and execution support as required.
· Ensure compliance with company HSE and technical standards.
Requirements
· Minimum 3 years of stimulation engineering experience.
· Previous experience with SLB or Halliburton (HLB) preferred.
· Strong knowledge of stimulation job design and execution.
· Offshore experience, particularly deepwater, is advantageous.
· Good communication, planning and client-management skills.
Certificates Required
· Valid Offshore Survival Certificate.
· Valid Offshore Medical Certificate.
· Valid Yellow Fever Certificate.
