Upstream Permanent Staff Position
We are currently seeking an experienced Stimulation Senior Field Engineer to support offshore operations on an upcoming project in Mexico.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in well stimulation and sand control, with proven experience working in offshore environments and on vessels. Experience with hydraulic proppant fracturing (proppant frac) and Stimulation Management Systems (SMS) is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide senior field engineering support for offshore stimulation operations.
- Plan, prepare and execute stimulation and sand control operations in accordance with approved programmes and procedures.
- Provide technical support during hydraulic proppant fracturing and related stimulation treatments.
- Coordinate with offshore personnel, client representatives and service teams to ensure safe and efficient execution of operations.
- Monitor job performance, equipment readiness and operational parameters throughout the treatment.
- Troubleshoot operational and technical issues and provide effective field-based solutions.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with HSE, quality and operational standards.
- Complete accurate operational reporting and documentation.
- Support pre-job planning, risk assessments, equipment checks and post-job reviews.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced field personnel where required.
Required Experience & Competencies
- Significant experience as a Senior Field Engineer / Stimulation Field Engineer within the oil & gas industry.
- Proven sand control experience.
- Strong offshore operational experience.
- Previous experience working on vessels is essential.
- Proven experience with hydraulic proppant fracturing / proppant frac operations.
- Experience with Stimulation Management Systems (SMS).
- Strong understanding of stimulation equipment, processes and operational procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a demanding offshore environment.
- Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to HSE and operational excellence.
Desirable
- Experience supporting complex offshore stimulation campaigns.
- Experience working with major international oilfield service companies.
- Relevant offshore safety and medical certifications.
- Previous experience in deepwater operations.
