Dredging Works Manager

Our global client is currently seeking highly skilled and experienced Dredging Works Managers to oversee the planning, execution, and managing of dredging and reclamation projects in Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities of the Dredging Works Manager:

  • Delivering capital and maintenance dredging works in compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Lead and manage large-scale dredging and reclamation projects, from inception through to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Oversee the coordination and mobilisation of dredging equipment, vessels, and associated resources.
  • Ensure compliance with all project specifications, environmental guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on dredging techniques, equipment selection, and operational methods.
  • Review and approve project plans, engineering designs, and operational procedures.
  • Address technical issues and challenges encountered during dredging operations, offering timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Ensure that all engineering standards, safety protocols, and industry best practices are followed on site.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Dredging Engineer, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineer, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in dredging and reclamation projects, specifically with capital dredging operations.
  • In-depth technical knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to manage complex dredging operations across a range of marine environments.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale dredging projects, including expertise in different dredging techniques and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of marine and coastal environmental regulations, along with experience mitigating environmental risks in dredging projects.
