Wind Wind Turbine Technician

Our client is seeking a high skilled Wind Turbine Technician – Electrician to join their team for work in Europe.
Responsibilities of the Wind Turbine Technician:
- Installing and maintaining electrical systems in wind turbines and other renewable energy infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical problems in wind turbines and other renewable energy infrastructure.
- Operating hand and power tools, as well as specialised equipment, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with OEM manufacturers, developers, and contractors to ensure electrical systems meet project requirements.
- Inspecting and testing electrical systems and equipment to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Completion of a technical or vocational program in electrical systems or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical system installation, maintenance and repair, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Nordex experience is desirable.
- Must have A1 in place to cover Europe.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety procedures.
- Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
- Familiar with hand and power tools, as well as specialised equipment used in electrical system maintenance and repair.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including fluency in English.
- Valid driver’s license and able to travel to project sites as needed.
