Renewables Senior Geologist
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geologist to support our client’s project based in Nigeria.
Responsibilities of the Senior Geologist:
- Conduct geological assessments and analyses to inform project decisions.
- Develop and maintain geological models and data interpretations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate geological insights into project plans.
- Prepare and present detailed technical reports and findings to stakeholders.
- Participate in fieldwork and travel to Nigeria for ad-hoc meetings and team sessions.
- Mentor junior geologists and provide technical guidance.
- Stay abreast of industry developments and best practices in geology.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree or higher in Geology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years in geological exploration, resource evaluation, or related fields.
- Proficiency in geological software and tools; strong analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly.
- Willingness to travel to Nigeria as needed while effectively managing remote work.
- Previous experience working in Nigeria or similar environments.
- Knowledge of local geological regulations and practices.
