Technical Sales Specialist

Our client is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist for work in Queensland, Australia.
The Technical Sales Specialist is responsible for driving business growth through expert knowledge and sales of fluid storage and management systems. The role is pivotal in developing strategic client relationships and providing comprehensive technical sales support to enhance field operations.

Responsibilities of the Technical Sales Specialist:

Business Development:
  • Proactively identify potential clients in industries requiring advanced fluid storage and management solutions.
  • Engage in strategic market research to align offerings with market needs.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and retention.
  • Lead door-opening sales activities to secure new business and expand the client base.
  • Expand the clint based through effective sales strategics and client engagement, ensuring a strong presence in targeted markets.
Client and Technical Sales Support:
  • Function as the primary contact for client concerns, maintaining high levels of customer service and responsiveness.
  • Utilise expertise in fluid management systems to articulate the benefits and features of the company’s products, driving sales and client satisfaction.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored proposals and presentations that meet client needs.
Field Operations Collaboration:
  • Support project execution by providing on-site technical guidance and troubleshooting, ensuring operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with field and operations teams to address technical challenges, ensuring seamless project delivery.
  • Participate in site activities, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all systems.
  • Function as a liaison between clients and operational teams to facilitate clear communication and timely issue resolution.
Safety and Quality Leadership:
  • Lead safety initiatives, ensuring strict adherence to HSEQ management systems and promoting a culture of safety.
  • Conduct risk assessments and participate in safety audits to uphold and exceed safety standards.
  • Drive quality compliance throughout all operational processes, actively participating in incident investigations and HSEQ reviews.
Reporting and Compliance:
  • Compile detailed reports on equipment performance, operational challenges, and client feedback to inform continuous improvement.
  • Ensure accurate data collection and reporting in compliance with company policies and client contract requirements.
  • Manage documentation and maintain high standards in all reporting and operational processes.
  • Uphold all legal, environmental, and contractual obligations, continuously monitoring compliance and adjusting operations, as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in fluid management, with a focus on technical sales and client relationship management.
  • Valid drivers license.
  • Wellsite Permit to Work Rev.3.
  • Operate vehicles in the field (4×4 Santos approved).
  • Confined Spaces (with BA) Training.
  • Work at Heights.
  • Industry safety induction.
  • Construction white card.
  • Senior First Aid / CPR.
  • Eligible to work in Australia.
