Accounts Payable Officer
We are seeking a detailed-orientated and organised Accounts Payable Officer to join our client based in Toowoomba, Australia.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Officer:
- Manage the company’s accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Requirements:
- Degree of diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a similar accounting role.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with other financial software is a plus.
- Strong ability to maintain accuracy in financial transactions and documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to identify issues and discrepancies, and resolve them quickly.
- Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Familiar with basic account principles and practices related to accounts payable.
