Upstream MPD Senior Supervisor
Our client, a leading oilfield services company, is seeking an experience MPD Senior Supervisor to join their dynamic team in Kuwait.
This is a key leadership role responsible for managing and overseeing MPD operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to client specifications in drilling projects.
Responsibilities of the MPD Senior Supervisor:
- Lead and supervise all MPD operations, ensuring high safety standards and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with drilling teams to implement customised MPD solutions.
- Monitor well control, pressure management, and drilling parameters to ensure operational efficiency.
- Conduct risk assessments and troubleshooting for any operational challenges.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, client standards, and best practices.
- Prepare and review technical reports, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis.
- Mentor and train junior staff to enhance team capability.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with at least 5 years in a senior MPD role.
- Proven expertise in MPD techniques, well control, and pressure management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as API, IADC, and HSE regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Valid well control certification (IWCF or equivalent).
