Job Overview: We are seeking experienced and highly motivated Frac/Cementing/Gravel Pack Specialists to join our clients team in Romania for an exciting development project within the energy sector. The successful candidates will be responsible for executing frac, cementing, and gravel pack operations to optimize wellbore integrity, enhance production, and maximize hydrocarbon recovery. This role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to advanced production techniques in a dynamic, high-impact environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and oversee frac, cementing, and gravel pack equipment on-site, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery.
- Design, plan, and execute frac, cementing, and gravel pack operations focused on improving well productivity and integrity, including well stimulation, fracture treatments, and gravel packing to prevent sand production and optimize reservoir performance.
- Implement production enhancement strategies by performing well stimulation and fracture treatments, as well as ensuring proper gravel pack placement for long-term well stability.
- Monitor real-time data during operations and adjust frac, cementing, and gravel pack parameters as needed to optimize wellbore conditions and enhance hydrocarbon production.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, geologists, and other field specialists to design and customize solutions that meet specific production enhancement objectives.
- Conduct post-job analysis to assess the performance of frac, cementing, and gravel pack operations, ensuring the continuous improvement of techniques and processes.
- Maintain accurate job records, including operational data, material usage, and equipment performance, ensuring thorough documentation for future analysis and optimization.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards to protect personnel and the environment while ensuring wellbore integrity.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, sharing knowledge of frac, cementing, and gravel pack best practices for optimal production outcomes.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of frac, cementing, and gravel pack equipment to ensure readiness and minimize operational downtime.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in frac, cementing, and/or gravel pack operations within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with well stimulation, fracture treatments, cementing, and gravel pack techniques and equipment.
- Proven track record in implementing production enhancement strategies, including stimulation and gravel packing for production optimization.
- Ability to monitor and analyze real-time data to optimize frac, cementing, and gravel pack operations for enhanced production and well performance.
- Strong understanding of wellbore integrity, sand control, and other production-enhancement methods.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations related to frac, cementing, and gravel pack operations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in challenging and remote environments.
- Fluent in English (additional language skills are a plus).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.
Preferred:
- Experience in Eastern European oil and gas operations is a plus.
- Certification or training in well control, sand control, or other related safety certifications is advantageous.
