We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Wireline Specialist to join our clients team in Romania for an exciting development project within the energy sector. In this role, you will be responsible for performing wireline operations for oil and gas exploration and production activities. You will work closely with engineers, field personnel, and clients to ensure the efficient and safe execution of wireline services in complex offshore environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain wireline equipment during logging, perforating, and other downhole activities.
- Perform wireline intervention services such as wellbore cleanouts, setting plugs, and running various tools.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures in all aspects of wireline operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to equipment and downhole tools in real-time.
- Monitor and document operational performance, including detailed reporting of results and incidents.
- Work closely with the rig and operations teams to ensure seamless coordination during operations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior personnel, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
- Maintain and calibrate wireline equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Conduct pre-job and post-job preparation, including equipment checks, tool runs, and data analysis.
- Adhere to environmental regulations and company policies while executing all tasks.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Wireline Specialist or in a similar role in the oil and gas industry, preferably in offshore environments.
- In-depth knowledge of wireline equipment, tools, and techniques, including mechanical, electrical, and software systems.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, offshore operations, and well intervention procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working in diverse teams and with clients.
- Willingness to work in challenging offshore conditions, including extended shifts and rotational schedules.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical certifications in wireline operations or related fields.
- Experience with offshore well operations, particularly in deepwater or harsh environments.
- Knowledge of industry-standard software and data analysis tools.
