Overview: We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Cementing Specialists to join our clients team for an exciting and challenging oil and gas project Offshore in Romania. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cementing operations, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality services in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cementing Operations: Lead, plan, and execute cementing operations in offshore and onshore environments, ensuring that all cementing services are conducted in compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Wellbore Integrity: Ensure the integrity of the wellbore is maintained throughout the project lifecycle, including the preparation and placement of cement slurries, casing, and other materials used in well construction.
- Equipment and Materials Management: Supervise the preparation, mixing, and testing of cementing materials and oversee the operation of cementing equipment on location, ensuring proper functioning and maintenance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with drilling, operations, and engineering teams to optimize cementing operations, resolve issues, and provide technical expertise to ensure successful project outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in cementing operations within the oil and gas industry, particularly in offshore or challenging environments.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of cementing techniques, wellbore construction, slurry design, equipment operations, and materials used in cementing.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in cementing operations or other oil and gas technical qualifications are preferred.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Safety Focused: A proven track record of adhering to HSE standards and practices, ensuring a high standard of safety across all operations.
Working Conditions:
- Offshore/onshore site-based role with long shifts, working in a challenging and demanding environment.
- Flexibility to work on a rotational schedule, as required by the project.
