Job Title: Senior ESP Engineer
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior ESP Engineer to lead
the installation, operation, and optimization of Electrical Submersible Pumps
(ESP) in the field. This role requires a deep understanding of ESP technology,
including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, along with a proven
track record in supervision, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production
enhancement. The ideal candidate will have significant field experience,
leadership capabilities, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- ESP
Installation & Pullout Supervision: Supervise and ensure proper
procedures and best practices are followed during ESP installations and
pullouts. Collect data and provide preliminary findings to identify and
address ESP failures, offering recommendations and corrective actions. - Operational
Best Practices: Implement ESP operational best practices to meet
production targets, minimize downtime, and reduce power consumption. - Monitoring
& Optimization: Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize ESP
performance to enhance production, troubleshoot issues, and ensure
efficient operation. - Safety
Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations and
industry standards, safeguarding personnel and equipment. - Data
Collection & Reporting: Gather and analyze data on ESP
performance, preparing reports to inform decision-making and drive
operational improvements. - Collaboration
& Technical Support: Maintain clear communication with
stakeholders, suppliers, and team members, providing technical support and
addressing concerns promptly. - Training
& Development: Provide coaching and training to UAE nationals and
the field operations team to enhance skills and ensure a high level of
performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s
degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering - Minimum
10 years of field experience with downhole and surface ESP equipment - Strong
leadership, strategic planning, and interpersonal skills - Experience
in troubleshooting, optimization, and operational best practices for ESP
systems
