We are seeking a skilled Offshore Slickline Supervisor to oversee and coordinate slickline operations on offshore oil and gas platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in slickline operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and lead a team of slickline operators during offshore operations.
- Plan and schedule slickline interventions and well servicing activities.
- Conduct pre-job meetings to review safety procedures, job objectives, and operational plans.
- Ensure proper maintenance and readiness of slickline equipment and tools.
- Monitor and control slickline operations to achieve optimal performance and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of operations, equipment usage, and maintenance activities.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to prevent incidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Train and mentor junior operators in slickline techniques and safety practices.
- Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of operations.
- Report to management on operational status, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore slickline operations.
- Proven experience in supervisory roles, demonstrating leadership and decision-making skills.
- Proficient knowledge of slickline tools, equipment, and their applications.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in offshore operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under pressure.
- Valid offshore certifications and training (e.g., BOSIET, HUET) as required.
- Flexibility to work on rotational schedules and in challenging offshore environments.
