Job Description: Rig Manager – HWO/Workover Experience
We are seeking an experienced Rig Manager with a strong background in HWO (Hydraulic Workover) operations and workover experience. The ideal candidate will have 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a proven track record in ESP change, fishing, and offshore operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily rig operations, ensuring safe and efficient work processes for ESP change, fishing, and other workover activities.
- Supervise rig staff, manage resources, and maintain operational efficiency while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
- Ensure all rig activities comply with company policies and industry best practices.
- Actively manage and resolve technical challenges related to well operations.
- Maintain and manage operational records, reports, and certifications.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment while ensuring effective communication among team members.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in oil and gas rig management, with a focus on HWO and workover operations.
- IWCF Level 4 certification required.
- Proven experience in offshore operations.
- French-speaking preferred for communication with international teams.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Ability to work in a staff/rotational contract position (open-ended for now).
