Our Global client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workforce Lead to join our team in Saudi Arabia in a permanent position, focusing on unconventional oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and leading large-scale workforce operations within the oil and gas industry, particularly in unconventional resource development such as shale, tight gas, and other non-conventional reservoirs.

As the Workforce Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment, mobilization, and management of personnel involved in the project, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budget, and safety standards. This is a senior position that requires a deep understanding of the operational and logistical complexities involved in unconventional oil and gas projects, as well as the ability to manage and lead diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the workforce strategy and planning for large-scale unconventional oil and gas projects in Saudi Arabia.

  • Develop and implement workforce mobilization plans, ensuring that personnel resources are aligned with project requirements and timelines.

  • Manage the recruitment and onboarding process for project personnel, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and safety standards.

  • Coordinate with HR, procurement, and project management teams to optimize workforce resources and resolve operational challenges.

  • Oversee the training and development of personnel to ensure alignment with industry best practices and project-specific needs.

  • Ensure that workforce performance aligns with project goals, including productivity, safety, and quality standards.

  • Monitor and evaluate workforce performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions where necessary.

  • Manage and mitigate risks related to workforce logistics, including accommodation, transportation, and health & safety.

  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, contractors, and vendors.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to workforce teams, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
