Under limited supervision, the Senior mechanical technician III role requires the personnel to be a self-starter, stand alone, experienced, motivated & will maintain and repairs a variety of equipment including diesel engines, pumping equipment but will predominately be working on Coil Tubing 95-125K injectors, Coil tubing control cabins, Coil tubing Hydraulic power packs, N2 pumps and other oil field related equipment such as compressors & generators on & offshore. Senior mechanical technician III position will service, diagnoses and repairs a variety of equipment including; diesel engines (Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, Cummins, Perkins) transmissions such as Allsion, Fuller, Rexroth, drive train components, winches, high pressure pumps, centrifugal pumps, air compressors, microprocessor controls, electro-mechanical equipment, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, mobile/overhead cranes, wellhead attachments and pressure equipment, gearboxes, PTO’s, generators, chemical metering systems, 12/24v electrical systems, equipment cabs and controls, chassis and suspension, forklifts, A/C systems, and a variety of other energy services equipment. Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. Recognized expert in maintenance processes, procedures and functions. Assists in supervising others. Provides basic job training and guidance on a regular basis; performs work of same or closely allied nature. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined. Senior technician position with minimum of 10 years’ experience.
Job Roles:
• Work in an offshore environment on Coil Tubing 95-125K injectors, Coil tubing control cabins, Coil tubing Hydraulic power packs, N2 pumps and other oil field related equipment such as compressors & generators on & offshore.
• Assumes PERSONAL responsibility for ensuring the duties of their position ore performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
• Recognized expert in maintenance processes, procedures and functions
• Performs preventive/predictive maintenance procedures on equipment
• Performs inspections required by company, and government entities
• Proficient in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Installs and/or replaces new or reconditioned repair parts
• Tests equipment for proper operation
- Extensive hands-on experience as a Coil Tubing Mechanic
- Proficient with Halliburton 95k–125k injectors
- Must be capable of working independently/standalone
- Prior offshore experience strongly preferred
- Valid offshore medical and survival certificates required
- Competitive contractor rate: $300–$350 USD/day
- Rotation: 28×28 or 35×35
