The QAQC Inspector ensures products or services meet quality standards by developing and implementing quality control procedures, monitoring processes, and identifying and addressing issues. They also collaborate with teams, conduct audits, and maintain documentation.
- Developing and Implementing Quality Control Procedures:
- Creating and updating quality control plans, procedures, and standards.
- Overseeing workshop processes, conducting product testing, and inspecting goods or services to ensure they meet quality requirements.
- Identifying and Addressing Issues.
- Detecting defects, non-conformities, or deviations from standards, and initiating corrective actions.
- Root Cause Analysis.
- Investigating the causes of quality problems and implementing preventative measures.
- Collaboration and Communication.
- Working with production, engineering, and other teams to address quality issues and improve processes.
- Maintaining accurate records of quality control activities, generating reports, and communicating findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Conducting internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Providing training and guidance to staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends, best practices, and relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in quality control methodologies, statistical analysis, and quality management software.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and pinpoint root causes of quality issues.
- Capacity to develop and implement effective solutions to quality-related problems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with various teams and stakeholders.
- Meticulous approach to ensure accuracy and thoroughness in all quality control activities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and maintain organized records.
- Proven experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, with knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software
- Previous experience in a similar role (>5 years)
- Certification in Quality Assurance or Compliance (Desirable)
