Job Description:
A Geologist with Petroleum Geoscience experience plays a key role in the exploration and development of oil and gas resources. They analyze subsurface data, including seismic, geological, and well data, to identify hydrocarbon prospects, evaluate reservoir potential, and support drilling and production decisions.
Key Responsibilities:

Interpret seismic and geological data to assess subsurface structures

Identify and evaluate hydrocarbon prospects and reservoirs

Collaborate with geophysicists, reservoir engineers, and drilling teams

Generate geological models and maps to support exploration and development

Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in participating in technical reviews & able to provide technical assurance on technical works /analysis.
- Capable of preparing Standards and Guidelines for the Company
- Experience in provision of Training on subject matters
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Geophysics from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant Petroleum Geoscience experience.
- Knowledge and experience of working in Sarawak basin.
- Demonstrated proficiency in exploration or development geoscience delivery.
- Experienced in working with RE in integrated reservoir modelling, as required for geomodelling work.
- Proficiency in using geological software applications such as PETREL, GeoX, etc.
- Experience in well planning and delivery.
- Experience in delivering well proposal, FDP and/or FFR.
- Experience and involved in CCUS projects.
