Position Summary:
We are seeking experienced Wireline Contractors in the below positions with a strong background in open hole wireline operations to join our land-based project in Somalia. The assignment will run for 6 months starting October 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality wireline services while working closely with the operations team.
Positions:
- Wireline Engineer
- Wireline Crew Chief
- Wireline Operator
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute open hole wireline logging operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE standards, and client requirements.
- Maintain and operate wireline tools, logging units, and related equipment.
- Interpret data and support delivery of high-quality logging results to the client.
- Troubleshoot operational challenges and provide technical solutions.
- Mentor and support junior crew members in safe operations.
- Prepare and submit accurate job reports and documentation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Wireline Engineer with a focus on open hole logging.
- Strong technical knowledge of wireline equipment, logging tools, and data interpretation.
- Previous land-based project experience in challenging environments is preferred.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Valid certifications in HSE and wellsite operations are an advantage.
