Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Wireline Specialist with demonstrated expertise in the operation of Kinley perforators and the use of explosive charges to perforate tubing in oil and gas wells. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing safe and efficient wireline perforation operations, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct wireline perforation operations using Kinley perforators and related tools to puncture well tubing safely and effectively.

  • Prepare, load, and handle explosive charges in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Rig up and rig down wireline equipment, including pressure control components, in accordance with established procedures.

  • Monitor downhole operations, interpret tool responses, and adjust procedures as required to maintain well integrity and operational goals.

  • Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of wireline equipment and perforation tools.

  • Maintain accurate job records, equipment logs, explosive inventories, and post-job reports.

  • Participate in safety meetings, risk assessments, and ensure strict adherence to HSE standards.

  • Provide guidance and support to junior crew members during field operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in wireline operations, specifically with Kinley perforator systems.

  • Certification in explosives handling and perforating operations (as required by local regulations).

  • Strong understanding of wellbore configurations, pressure control equipment, and downhole tool deployment.

  • Familiarity with industry HSE practices and permit-to-work systems.

  • Ability to work in remote field locations on rotational schedules.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work under pressure.

Preferred Certifications

  • Wireline/Perforation Training Certification

  • Explosives Handling Certification (e.g., POW)

  • BOSIET/FOET or equivalent offshore survival training (if applicable)

  • First Aid / H2S Awareness (advantageous)
