The Senior Reservoir Engineer: has to assure the best reservoir management through the identification, definition and planning of all the required actions both in terms of data acquisition and execution, providing field development planning to maximizing ultimate recovery, development of opportunities for resource progression and production growth, and supporting the technical development of resources of the team with a lower seniority.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities
– Effective Reservoir management for the development of Block 15/06 portfolio.
– Delivery of Reservoir management activities required by the Block 15/06 Business Plan.
– Support the implementation of new policies and practices for Azule Reservoir management organization.
– Support Block 15/06 reserves estimation and reporting in compliance with internal requirements and external regulations.
– Supporting key business decisions and project milestones, ensuring that subsurface uncertainty and risk management is understood, and new opportunities are properly evaluated;
– Support the technical evaluation of Block 15/06 for:
o Reservoir management budget and 5 year cost forecast
o Annual Business Plan cadence with Block 15/06 Reservoir management plan, cost, and performance inputs o Deliver Block 15/06 Reservoir management activities required by the Azule Business Plan
– Ensure that appropriate appraisal and surveillance data is obtained in the exploration wells to evaluate development options and mitigate development risks and uncertainty, determine realistic development scenarios and assessing the commercial viability of the prospects.
– Manage and maintain the Block 15/06 wells hopper in support to well intervention planning and execution.
– Generate field development plan scenarios, including alternative depletion strategies, reservoir management plans, and surveillance plans, while providing risk identification throughout the appraisal and development phases of projects.
Main Interfaces
– BLK 15/06 Res. Management Section Lead and Reservoir Manager – to ensure alignment with the overall Azule Reservoir Management plans and how it connects with the Azule Business Plan;
– Block Asset Managers – to ensure Reservoir management activities are aligned with the Asset priorities and deliverables.
GENERAL
– Production Team Leader – to ensure Block production and injection targets are aligned with field depletion plans and long-term reserves delivery and confirm that installed production capacity (IPC) and inform the annual production forecast;
– Drilling and Wells Team Leader – to make sure reservoir management activities are properly supporting and enabling drilling and wells plans;
– Performance team leader – to ensure subsurface KPI are measured, lessons learned captured and aligned with business Plan.
– Data management team leader – to make sure data management issues, migration, integration, technical and data quality issues are resolved and actively seeking to apply data science techniques; automation and machine learning, including the use of analytical and visualization tools to translate data and interpreted results into actionable insights and value.
