Key Responsibilities
- Offshore Angola based position – working directly for Main Contractor.
- Operate as main contractor focal point and lead – ensuring all offshore activities are carried out safely, timely and within budget.
- KPI tracking and management – particularly focused on HSEQ KPIs associated with offshore activities.
- Manage all relevant offshore sub-contractors to ensure safety, quality and compliance are maintained.
- Provide main reporting line between main client, sub-contractors and onshore UK main contractor project team
- Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of a brownfield offshore redevelopment project.
- Provide technical oversight with an engineering-first mindset, especially around process equipment packages (pressure vessels, piping, skids, instrumentation, valves, pumps, etc.).
Requirements
- Demonstrable significant previous experience as Offshore Construction Manager
- Experience managing EPC projects within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proven experience across the full pre-FEED, FEED, and EPCI lifecycle.
- Strong engineering background with a preference for candidates experienced in oilfield process equipment.
- Demonstrated capability in reporting, and KPI measurement across project lifecycles.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience coordinating subcontractors, clients, and vendors.
- Excellent communication skills, including experience presenting to steering committees and/or senior leadership.
- Ability to work full-time from Angola (Minimum 12 months duration).
