Visuna Australia is recruiting for a leading provider of flow equipment products, systems, and services to worldwide oil, gas, and process industries. The company has expanded the range of support and response for its portfolio of valves and actuation.
General Responsibilities:
- Provide techno-commercial engineering support to customers, focusing on in-house valve repairs and service projects.
- Prepare SAP repair quotations for workshop repair, modifications or testing scopes.
- Help build a reputation with key customers by consistently delivering high-quality service and technical engineering solutions.
- Ensure all mechanical engineering work complies with company policies, the Quality System, and accreditation requirements
Office and Workshop Based Activities:
- Prepare detailed repair quotations for valves and related products, ensuring timely, accurate, and competitive submissions.
- Liaise with customers to address technical and commercial requirements for workshop repair scopes.
- Collaborate with the maintenance teams to determine repair activities and ensure smooth execution of repair scopes.
- Assist the Sales team by providing technical and commercial support for project and service activities.
- Ensure all proposed repair activities comply with relevant industry standards and client requirements.
- Liaise with vendors to obtain quotes for workshop repair scopes.
- Project manage workshop repair scopes as needed, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Attend engineering, production, and scheduling meetings as required.
- Attend toolbox talks and contribute to QHSE issues and initiatives as required.
- Ensure effective information flow between departments to support proper planning and execution of the repairs.
- Provide updates to Sales or customer point of contact as required.
- Ensure adherence to Quality Policies and Procedures. Report any non-conformance or opportunities for system improvement to the Quality department for appropriate action.
- Identify opportunities for business development. → Contribute to the development of the company’s knowledge base.
- Train and support personnel as required.
- Mechanical Engineering Degree (or similar Engineering degree)
- Australian Work Rights
- Experience preparing techno-commercial valve repair proposals in SAP is highly valued.
- Experience with the valve product lines is highly valued.
- Familiarity with valve design and relevant industry standards is required.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and Word are required.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry is highly valued.
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills are essential.
- A high level of attention to detail is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
