Slickline Operator / Senior Slickline Operator
Overview
We are seeking experienced Slickline Operators and Senior Slickline Operators to support ongoing and upcoming oil and gas operations in the Philippines. These roles involve the safe and efficient execution of slickline well intervention activities in accordance with company procedures and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Slickline Operator
-
Perform slickline operations including rig-up, rig-down, and pressure testing

Operate slickline units and well control equipment safely

Run and retrieve downhole tools as per job program
-
Assist with tool preparation, maintenance, and job execution
-
Monitor well conditions and report operational status
-
Adhere strictly to HSE policies and job safety requirements
Senior Slickline Operator
-
Lead slickline operations on site and mentor junior operators
-
Execute complex slickline interventions and troubleshooting
-
Ensure correct tool selection, setup, and job readiness
-
Maintain accurate job documentation and reporting
-
Liaise with supervisors and client representatives during operations
-
Promote strong safety leadership and operational discipline
Requirements
-
Proven experience in slickline operations within the oil and gas industry

Relevant experience level:
-
Operator: Hands-on slickline field experience
-
Senior Operator: Advanced operational and technical capability
-
-
Strong commitment to HSE and safe work practices
-
Experience with offshore and/or onshore operations preferred
-
Valid industry certifications (e.g. Well Control, BOSIET/FOET) are an advantage
-
Ability to work legally in the Philippines (local candidates preferred; expat candidates considered subject to requirements)
Preferred Experience

Previous work experience in Southeast Asia

Experience with well intervention, logging support, and pressure control equipment

Familiarity with international operator and service company standards
