The Electrical Technician shall carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities related to beam pumping units, motors, and associated control systems.
Key responsibilities:
• Perform motor terminations, insulation checks, and rotation verification.
• Assist in installation and replacement of motors and electrical components.
• Support basic VSD connections under guidance of Automation Engineer.
• Perform electrical isolation, testing, and fault identification.
• Inspect electrical cabling, grounding, and junction boxes.
• Maintain electrical tools and test equipment.
• Complete electrical checklists and reports.
• Minimum 6–8 years’ experience in oilfield electrical work.
• Minimum 4–5 years’ experience with motors, MCPs, or pumping unit electrical systems.
• Electrical trade certification preferred.
• Must have a good knowledge of computers, specifically MS Office.
