Upstream Our client in the UK requires a number of Leak Sealing Technicians for an upcoming long term project. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and effectively carry out on-line leak sealing and associated mechanical services on pressurised systems within a refinery environment, ensuring plant integrity and minimising downtime.
Perform on-line leak sealing on pipelines, flanges, valves, and pressure systems without shutting down operations
Install and maintain leak sealing enclosures, clamps, and injection fittings
Inject appropriate sealants and compounds under pressure using specialist equipment
Conduct site surveys and leak assessments, identifying the most effective sealing method
Read and interpret P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) and technical drawings
