Upstream The TDA/Vx Lead is responsible for overseeing technical data acquisition (TDA) and surface well testing (Vx) operations in offshore deepwater environments. This role ensures accurate data capture, system integrity, and optimal performance of testing equipment while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead execution of TDA and Vx operations during well testing activities
- Ensure accurate acquisition, monitoring, and validation of well test data
- Supervise setup, calibration, and operation of data acquisition systems and sensors
- Coordinate with offshore teams to optimize testing performance and troubleshoot issues
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and operational procedures
- Analyze real-time data trends and provide technical recommendations
- Maintain system integrity and oversee maintenance of TDA/Vx equipment
- Mentor junior personnel and support competency development
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in well testing with strong exposure to TDA and Vx systems
- Offshore deepwater experience is essential
- Strong understanding of data acquisition systems, instrumentation, and well testing processes
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience
- Ability to interpret complex data and respond to operational challenges
Qualifications:
- Technical diploma or degree in engineering or related discipline preferred
- Valid offshore certifications (e.g., BOSIET, medical, survival)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Work Environment:
