Rotation: 6 weeks ON / 3 weeks OFF
A major oil & gas service company in Qatar is seeking an ACTive Power Xtreme Specialist to support offshore coiled tubing operations using advanced electrically powered downhole systems. The role is to start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and supervise ACTive Power Xtreme coil tubing operations offshore (rigs and platforms)
- Operate and troubleshoot Tru-Tubing tools and downhole electrical and fiber-optic telemetry systems
- Analyze and interpret real-time downhole data to optimize operations
- Maintain the highest HSE and operational discipline standards
- Coordinate closely with offshore crews, engineers, and client representatives
- 6+ years’ experience as a Coiled Tubing or Wireline Supervisor / Field Engineer
- Electrical Engineering degree or Electrical / Instrumentation Technician background
- Technical Expertise:
– Tru-Tubing tools
– Downhole electrical and optical (fiber) telemetry systems
- Proven offshore experience (rig or platform)
- Strong troubleshooting and real-time data interpretation skills
- High HSE and operational discipline
- Advanced English (spoken and written)
