We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oil and Gas Asset Manager to oversee the evaluation, assessment, and management of oil and gas fields from appraisal through development and production. This role encompasses the full integrated production system, including reservoir performance, wellbore operations, and surface facilities to custody transfer.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of value drivers, risks, and uncertainties across the entire asset lifecycle, from field assessment to hydrocarbon monetization. The role requires excellence in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, subject matter experts, and clients, ensuring the maximization of oil and gas asset value and positive project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of large-scale oil and gas projects, from screening and evaluation through to project close-out.
  • Work across all stages of the project, including planning, deployment, execution, operation, and financial performance (P/L).
  • Oversee asset performance to ensure cost optimization, technical innovation, and increased hydrocarbon recovery.
  • Contribute directly to revenue generation by applying value-adding processes and technologies.
  • Serve as the primary interface with partners and clients, representing the company in both technical and commercial matters.
  • Provide leadership and direction to multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring the successful execution of projects.
  • Monitor and manage the financial health of assigned assets, ensuring effective resource management and decision-making.
  • Ensure the technical quality of all work prepared under your supervision and ensure compliance with contract provisions.
  • Collaborate with clients to maximize asset value through effective influence and leadership.

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering (preferred specialization in Petroleum Engineering or related fields).
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in the Exploration and Production (E&P) industry, with at least 5 years spent working with an operator.
  • Proven experience in asset management, project execution, and financial performance management.
  • Strong technical background with comprehensive knowledge of integrated production systems from reservoir to custody transfer.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to work with multi-disciplinary teams and clients.
  • Registration as a licensed/chartered professional engineer (preferred).
  • Fluent in English; Arabic speaker preferred.
  • Strong understanding of risks, uncertainties, and value drivers throughout the oil and gas production chain.
