Job Summary
We are seeking an Blender Operator for a Stimulation project in Mozambique, commencing in November 2026.
Responsible for operating and maintaining POD Blender equipment during offshore mixing and gravel-pack pumping operations, ensuring fluids are prepared to the required specifications and delivered safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor blender equipment during mixing and gravel-pack pumping operations, maintaining specified fluid rates and densities.
- Monitor mixing parameters and make adjustments to maintain required fluid specifications.
- Conduct equipment inspections, commissioning, diagnostics and functional testing.
- Troubleshoot and repair manifolds, valves, gate components, engines, densitometers and associated safety systems.
- Perform rig-up and rig-down of high-pressure lines and hoses in accordance with approved procedures.
- Maintain equipment records and manage spare and repair parts.
- Support equipment preparation, mobilisation and demobilisation between the base and offshore rig.
- Follow all HSE requirements and approved operating procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Blender Operator or in a similar stimulation or pumping role.
- Experience with fluid mixing systems and offshore oilfield operations is preferred.
- Understanding of fluid density, mixing parameters and equipment maintenance.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong commitment to HSE and operational discipline.
- Ability to work offshore on rotational schedules and extended shifts.
- Basic written and spoken English.
