Upstream Cementing Supervisor
Our global client has requirements for experienced offshore Cementing Supervisors for work in Guyana.
Responsibilities of the Cementing Supervisor:
- Collaborate with drilling engineers and rig personnel to develop detailed cementing plans and schedules.
- Monitor job progress and troubleshoot any issues or deviations from the plan.
- Conduct pre-job meetings to review safety procedures, job requirements, and contingency plans.
- Direct the activities of cementing crews, ensuring proper mixing, pumping, and placement of cement slurry.
- Keep abreast of industry advancements and best practices in cementing technologies and techniques.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Previous experience of working for a Major Service company is essential.
- 6+ years' experience in a Cementing position.
- Current valid medical.
- Applied knowledge of HSE practices and procedures.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Able to problem solve.
Additional Information:
- This role is a day rate position which is subject to knowledge and experience.
- Travel to and from the rig is organised and paid for by the client.
