Renewables Completions Engineer
One of our clients is seeking a Completions Engineer for work in Azerbaijan.
Responsibilities of the Completions Engineer:
- Plan, design, and execute completion programs for oil and gas wells, ensuring optimal reservoir drainage and production efficiency.
- Conduct tubing movement calculations and ensure proper wellbore integrity during completion operations.
- Oversee wellsite activities during completion operations, including supervision of contractors and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to optimise completion designs and enhance well performance.
- Provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting completion-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards throughout the completion process.
- Continuously evaluate and incorporate best practices and technological advancements in completion engineering.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in subsurface technical roles.
- At least 7 years experience specifically in completion engineering, sand control, and wellsite supervision of completion activities.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in completion design.
- Familiar with Wellview software and proficiency in tubing movement calculations is essential.
- Detailed knowledge of subsurface completion equipment and wellhead equipment.
- Thorough understanding of wireline and tubing conveyed perforating systems, including charge selection.
- Strong technical background in petroleum engineering or a related field.
- Able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
