Job Title: Core Handling Technician
Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Core Handling Technicians to support a long-term oil & gas project at a core house facility in Bahrain. The role requires full-time, on-site commitment for the duration of the project and hands-on experience handling reservoir rock samples.
Key Responsibilities

Handling and managing reservoir rock (core) samples

Performing core layout, labeling, surface cleaning, and marking

Maintaining accurate core inventory and documentation

Conducting core photography in accordance with project standards

Packing and preparing core samples for storage or shipment

Ensuring proper handling procedures and housekeeping within the core facility

Supporting project leads and following client operational guidelines
Requirements
-
Proven experience in core handling / core house operations
-
Background in oil & gas, reservoir engineering support, or geological sample management

Familiarity with core handling best practices and documentation
-
Ability to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written)

Basic soft skills, teamwork, and professionalism in a client-facing environment

Willingness and availability to work full-time on-site in Bahrain for the project duration
Preferred Qualifications
-
Previous experience working on long-term projects in the GCC
-
Experience working with international oil & gas operators

Prior involvement in similar core handling or laboratory-based projects
