Coring Engineer
Our client has a requirement for Coring Engineers to work onshore in the United Kingdom.
This work will be a 2×2 rotation over a period of 8 weeks, then a break of 6-12 weeks, and then the job will be repeated. This cycle will occur 4 times.
Responsibilities of the Coring Engineer:
- Design coring strategies, including selection of coring equipment, coring intervals, and coring fluid systems.
- Supervise coring crews and contractors to ensure safe and efficient execution of coring activities.
- Monitor drilling parameters and coring performance to optimise operations and maximise core recovery.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure the integrity and quality of core samples.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in Coring.
- Have the right to work in the UK with an up-to-date work permit.
- Proficient in safety regulations and environmental compliance standards.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
