Upstream DAQ Engineer
Are you looking for work in Angola? We have requirements from a DAQ Engineer to start work early April for a duration of approximately 1 month.
Responsibilities of the DAQ Engineer:
- Design and develop data acquisition systems tailored to specific operational requirements and objectives.
- Identify appropriate sensors and measurement instruments for monitoring parameters, such as temperature, pressure, flow rate, and chemical composition.
- Program and configure software applications for data acquisition.
- Establish protocols and standards for consistent data collections.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to extract actionable insights from acquired data.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system design, configuration, and operational procedures.
Requirements:
- Effective communication skills for conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences and stakeholders.
- Familiar with industry-specific standards and regulations.
- Proficient in programming languages.
Additional Information:
- Valid passport with a minimum of 4 blank pages.
- Yellow fever certification.
- Double COVID vaccination certification.
- 1 year medical (OGUK).
- Valid offshore certifications – TBOSIET / HUET.
